The Wera Kraftform Kompakt VDE 17 is a compact, fully insulated screwdriver set built for professional electrical work. It replaces a bag full of separate VDE screwdrivers with two handles and 15 interchangeable blades. You get a full range of tips in a pouch that fits easily into a tool bag.

Every tool is rated for live working up to 1,000 volts. Each piece is individually tested at 10,000 volts to IEC 60900. That gives you the confidence to work safely on energised circuits.

Find the right blade fast

The "Take it easy" Tool Finder makes blade selection quick. Each blade is colour-coded by profile and laser-engraved with its size. A glance is all it takes to grab the right tip.

Kraftform handle for less effort

The multi-component Kraftform handle is shaped to fit the hand. It transfers more torque with less strain during long jobs. A free-turning cap lets you drive screws quickly and precisely. The non-roll design stops tools rolling off the bench.

Interchangeable blade system

Both 817 VDE blade-holding screwdrivers accept all 15 blades. Swapping blades is fast and secure. One reduced-diameter blade (0.6 x 3.5) reaches low-lying screws and spring terminals that standard insulated blades cannot.

All 15 blades are 157 mm long. The pouch is compatible with the Wera 2go modular carry system.
