Delivery:

When you order goods from our website the cost of delivery will be calculated automatically. Our aim is to keep all products in stock at our warehouse or at our suppliers for fast delivery. Tool Source endeavour to dispatch orders within 24 hours. In some cases, where stock is held at our suppliers, shipping may take an extra 2–3 working days. As soon as orders are dispatched you will receive an email stating that your goods are out for delivery. Please allow up to 7 working days for delivery — if you have not received delivery by this point, please contact us at info@toolsource.ie.

Currently we ship nationwide in Ireland and Northern Ireland. We are working on shipping to other EU countries. In the meantime, if you would like to order within the EU please contact us at info@toolsource.ie and we will provide a shipping price to your location.

Stock Availability:

We aim to keep in stock, or available, all items that we advertise for sale. However, there can be occasions where this is not the case, due to production difficulties, unexpected demand, or other reasons. In the event that a product is unavailable, we will contact you to ask whether you would like us to supply a suitable alternative or provide an estimated delivery date. We will not supply an alternative product unless we receive instruction from you to do so. If you opt not to purchase an alternative, we will refund the full value of the product and any applicable delivery charges.

Pricing:

All prices are shown inclusive of VAT. The only possible additional charge above the quoted price is a delivery charge. The VAT element of each purchase is clearly detailed on your invoice. Our site contains a large number of products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures. Where a product's correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount. If the correct price is higher, we will contact you for instructions before dispatching, or reject your order and notify you. We are under no obligation to provide a product at an incorrect lower price, even after a dispatch confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and could reasonably have been recognised as a mis-pricing.

Cooling-Off Period / Right of Withdrawal (EU & Ireland)

If you are a consumer based in Ireland or the EU, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, for any reason and without justification. You may inspect the goods as you reasonably would in a shop, but they should not be used beyond this. Items must be returned in their original packaging where possible.

To exercise this right, contact us at info@toolsource.ie with your name and order number. We'll send you a confirmation acknowledging receipt of your request, including the date and time. Once we receive the returned goods and confirm they are in the condition described above, we'll refund the price paid, including the original delivery charge, to your original payment method within 14 days. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty (see below).

Returns & Refunds:

All return requests should be emailed to info@toolsource.ie with your order number and reason for return. We'll guide you through the next steps.

Items Not Required (Change of Mind)

We aim to provide as much information as possible about each product so you can make an informed purchasing decision. If you wish to return an item due to a change of mind, you will be responsible for all return delivery costs. Items must be unused and in their original packaging. You can also return the item in person to our shop in Castlemaine, Co. Kerry — however the cost of original shipping remains the responsibility of the customer. Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method once items have been received and inspected.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us at info@toolsource.ie within 24 hours of receipt and we'll sort this out for you by refund, replacement, or repair. Once you've notified us, we'll provide a prepaid return label so you can send the item back to us at no cost to you.

If a fault develops after a period of use (for example, a power tool that stops working after some months of use), this is typically covered by the manufacturer's warranty. All tools come with a manufacturer's warranty, and most of our product pages have a link to the warranty procedure for that manufacturer — we encourage you to follow the instructions on these pages, as they will normally direct you to the manufacturer's helpline. This is usually the fastest way to get your warranty issue resolved.

Please note that some brands offer extended warranties, and to avail of this service you may need to register your tool online within a certain timeframe after purchase. See our warranty section on the website for further information.
