This Stanley FatMax triple pack brings together three site essentials in one set: a heavy-duty tape measure, a retractable knife, and a pack of spare blades. Each part is built to Stanley's tough FatMax standard for measuring and cutting on site or at home.
The 5 m (16 ft) tape has a 32 mm wide Mylar-coated steel blade. The Mylar coating makes the blade up to ten times more resistant to abrasion than a standard lacquered blade. An impressive 3.35 m stand-out lets you extend the tape a long way before it buckles.
A high-impact ABS case with an oversized rubberised bumper protects the hook and body from drops. The 3-rivet, corrosion-resistant Tru-Zero hook has top, bottom, and side hooks for accurate inside, outside, above, and below measurements. A forward blade lock makes it easy to lock and release the tape. Accuracy is EC Class II.
The retractable knife has an instant blade change mechanism and a push-button blade door for quick blade swaps. An auto-rise storage holder presents a fresh blade ready to load, and a blade wiper clears debris as the blade retracts. A blade clamp locks the blade for heavy-duty cutting, while the thumb pad and ergonomic angle make it comfortable for flooring and general site work. It comes loaded with 5 utility blades.
The pack also includes a separate box of 10 FatMax utility blades. With the 5 blades in the knife, that gives you 15 blades in total, so you always have a sharp edge to hand.
