The Stabila LBM 1000 STEEL is a professional 50 metre open reel tape built for measuring long distances on site, day in and day out. Its rugged steel blade and shatterproof Y-frame stand up to heavy use, while a versatile hook system and switchable crank make it fast and comfortable to use. It carries a metric scale to EC Class II accuracy.
The 50 m steel blade is protected by STABILA's NYLON-WRAP coating. This extremely hard-wearing coating guards the blade and its printed scale against corrosion and abrasion, so it stays accurate and readable through years of use.
The open Y-frame is made from high-quality PC/ABS plastic. Its shape protects the blade against knocks and impacts if the tape is dropped on site. An ergonomic SoftGrip handle makes it comfortable to hold and to tension the blade when measuring.
The STABILA Universal Spikes Hook gives you several ways to anchor the tape. Choose the fold-out metal hook with Spikes coating, the integrated eyelet, or the large shatterproof plastic ring with a nail groove. Whatever you are measuring from, you can get a secure hold when you pull the blade.
STABILA Crank Change lets you switch the crank from right-handed to left-handed operation in seconds. That makes the tape comfortable to wind for any user.
