This Milwaukee self-feeding wood drill bit bores fast, clean 22 mm holes in timber. A coarse-thread feed screw at the tip pulls the bit through the wood, so you drill with far less push. It is a big step up from a flat spade bit in both speed and finish.
Dual cutting edges make an aggressive, fast cut. The bit clears holes up to ten times faster than a standard flat boring bit. That saves real time when you are drilling many holes for pipe or cable runs.
The coarse-thread feed screw bites into the wood and draws the bit forward. It self-feeds in all types of timber — soft, hard, wet, and treated. You guide the drill; the bit does the pulling.
A tapered body reduces friction and chip build-up, so the bit is far less likely to jam. The polished, powder-coated flutes clear chips quickly for smooth, continuous drilling. Less jamming also means fewer broken bits.
The 1/4" hex shank locks securely into a drill chuck or an impact driver. That makes bit changes fast and stops the bit spinning under load.
