The Komelon PowerBlade II is a professional 8 m tape measure with a wide, high-visibility blade. The 27 mm blade and large, clear printing make it easy to read at a glance, even in poor light. It is built to take daily site use and keep measuring accurately.
The blade has high-visibility paint and larger-than-usual printing for fast, clear reading and marking. It is printed on both sides, with vertical markings on the reverse, so you can read a measurement whichever way the tape sits. Graduations are shown in both metric and imperial.
A Dura NY nylon coating covers the whole blade. This protects the print and the steel, and it lasts up to 15 times longer than a standard coating. The result is a blade that stays readable and rust-free far longer than an ordinary tape.
Komelon uses high-grade carbon steel with its own cold-rolling and heat treatment for consistent thickness and hardness. This resists kinking and bending in use. The blade edges are deburred, which reduces the rough edges that cause early corrosion and cracking. Accuracy is EC Class II.
An ergonomically shaped ABS case with a moulded rubber grip gives comfort and control during long jobs. The rubber also helps absorb impact to protect the case and button if the tape is dropped.
