The HiKOKI UC18YSL3JJZ MultiVolt Starter Pack gives you everything you need to power your HiKOKI cordless tools. It includes two BSL36B18X MultiVolt batteries and a UC18YSL3 rapid charger. It is the ideal way to start using the HiKOKI MultiVolt platform, or to add extra run time and a spare charger to your existing setup.
Each BSL36B18X battery switches automatically between 36V (4.0Ah) and 18V (8.0Ah) depending on the tool it is fitted to. That means one battery runs both HiKOKI 36V MultiVolt tools and standard HiKOKI 18V slide-battery tools. With up to 1440W of output, it gives high-demand tools like grinders, saws and SDS hammers the power of a corded tool. A built-in fuel gauge shows the remaining charge at a glance.
The UC18YSL3 rapid charger has a built-in cooling system that cools the battery while it charges, which speeds up charging and helps extend battery life. It works in temperatures down to -10Ā°C, so it can be used on site through the winter, and a USB port lets you charge your phone at the same time. Will the BSL36B18X batteries work in my 18V HiKOKI tools?
Yes. MultiVolt batteries automatically switch to 18V (8.0Ah) in HiKOKI 18V slide-battery tools, and to 36V (4.0Ah) in HiKOKI 36V MultiVolt tools.
Will they work with my old Hitachi tools?
HiKOKI was formerly Hitachi Power Tools, and MultiVolt batteries are designed to work with Hitachi 18V slide-battery tools. Check your tool's compatibility first, or contact us if you're unsure.
What does MultiVolt mean?
MultiVolt is HiKOKI's battery system. One battery automatically changes its output between 18V and 36V to suit the tool it is fitted to, so you only need one set of batteries for both platforms.
Does the charger have a USB port?
Yes. The UC18YSL3 has a built-in USB port for charging phones and other small devices.
