The Dewalt DCS358N is a compact, brushless 18V XR oscillating multi-tool for cutting, sanding, scraping and flush-cutting. It's an everyday problem-solver for carpenters, electricians, plumbers and renovators, handling plunge cuts in timber, trimming door frames, cutting pipe and removing grout.
The brushless motor, improved gearbox and powertrain give strong, efficient performance from every charge. The variable-speed trigger runs from 10,000 to 20,000 rpm, so you can start cuts slowly and precisely, then build up speed for faster material removal. The 3.6° oscillation angle keeps cuts controlled and accurate.
The tool-free QUICK-CHANGE clamp is compatible with Starlock accessories, and a removable clamping pin lets most other oscillating blades fit without tools too. The integrated LED lights the cut line, the vibration-dampening system and over-moulded grip reduce fatigue, and the lock-on switch makes long jobs easier. What's the difference between the Dewalt DCS358 and DCS359 multi-tools?
Both are brushless 18V XR oscillating multi-tools. The DCS358 has a variable-speed trigger and a 3.6° oscillation angle. The DCS359 adds four selectable speed settings and a wider 4.2° oscillation angle for faster cutting.
Does the DCS358N fit Starlock blades?
Yes. The tool-free QUICK-CHANGE clamp is compatible with Starlock accessories, and the removable clamping pin lets most other oscillating blades fit too.
Does the DCS358N come with a battery?
No. The DCS358N is a bare unit, supplied without a battery or charger. It works with any Dewalt 18V XR battery.
