The Dewalt DCF921N is a compact 18V XR brushless 1/2" impact wrench that packs serious power into a short, lightweight body. It delivers 406Nm of fastening torque and 609Nm of nut-busting torque, so it handles wheel nuts, suspension bolts, steelwork and general fixing with ease. That makes it a great choice for mechanics, fitters, steel erectors and site workers.
At just 125mm long and 1.1kg, it fits into tight spaces such as engine bays, wheel arches and between steel members where larger wrenches can't reach. The brushless motor runs cooler and more efficiently than a brushed motor, so you get more work from every battery charge. Four speed settings let you match the power to the job, from delicate fastening to heavy-duty removal.
The 1/2" hog ring anvil allows quick socket changes, and a hole in the anvil lets you secure sockets with a retaining pin and O-ring when needed. Is the Dewalt DCF921N strong enough to remove wheel nuts?
Yes. With 609Nm of breakaway torque it removes most car and van wheel nuts. Always tighten wheel nuts to the manufacturer's specified torque with a torque wrench.
Does the DCF921N come with a battery?
No. The DCF921N is the bare unit only. It works with all Dewalt 18V XR and FLEXVOLT batteries, which are sold separately.
What is a hog ring anvil?
A hog ring is a spring-loaded ring on the anvil that holds sockets securely while still allowing quick, tool-free socket changes.
