The Bosch AIZ 32 APB is a bi-metal Starlock blade for oscillating multi-tools. It makes precise, deep plunge cuts and flush cuts in wood, metal, and plastics. A tough bi-metal build gives it a long working life, even in demanding materials.

Cuts wood and metal

The blade is 32 mm wide with a 50 mm plunge cutting depth. It cuts wood, abrasive wood-based materials, and plastics, and it also cuts non-ferrous pipes and profiles, aluminium, and even non-hardened nails and screws in embedded-nail wood. That makes it a versatile all-rounder for renovation and fit-out work.

Curved-Tec for precise plunge cuts

A rounded cutting edge, called Curved-Tec, lets the blade cut precisely right from the start. It gives smoother, more accurate plunge cuts and reduces breakout on the sides for a clean finish. The curve also helps you cut neatly into corners and edges.

Long-life bi-metal construction

The BIM (bi-metal) build combines an HCS high-carbon steel base blade with HSS high-speed steel teeth. This resists wear and heat when cutting metal and abrasive materials, so the blade lasts far longer than a standard blade.

Starlock fit, 3-second blade change

The Starlock mounting system uses a 3D "cake-tin" connection for 100% power transfer, maximum control, and minimal wobble. Its snap-in system lets you remove and change the blade in about 3 seconds, without touching the hot blade. It fits Starlock, Starlock Plus, and Starlock Max tools, and common multi-tools from most brands.
