The Marshalltown MXS13SDH is the stainless steel, DuraSoft handle variant of the 13" x 5" finishing trowel. It has compact length, wide blade, low-maintenance steel, with a handle that gives a secure grip.
At 13", this is shorter than the standard 14" — making it the right choice for ceilings, reveals, columns and any area where a longer trowel becomes difficult to manoeuvre. The 5" blade width compensates with more plaster carried per pass than a standard 4" blade of the same length.
Stainless steel blade requires less upkeep than spring steel — rinse and dry after use and you're done. The DuraCork handle is textured and tacky, giving a noticeably more secure grip than smooth synthetic handles, particularly in wet or cold conditions on site.
