The Makita DAS180Z is a compact, high-powered 18V dust blower for clearing dust, dirt, and debris from tight spaces. It blows air at up to 200 m/s, so it reaches crevices, tools, and equipment that a brush cannot.
It does more than blow. With the right nozzle it also inflates and deflates, and it has a vacuum function too. That makes it a handy all-rounder for the workshop, the site, and the home.
Fit the blowing nozzle to clear dust from equipment, air filters, and narrow gaps. Fit the pinch valve nozzle to inflate or deflate inner tubes, paddling pools, sports balls, and air beds. One tool covers a lot of jobs.
A variable-speed trigger gives you fine control. On top of that, a 4-stage air volume setting lets you dial in the right power for the task. Higher stages move more air. Lower stages save runtime and suit delicate work.
With a 6.0Ah battery, runtime reaches up to 55 minutes on stage 1. Stages 2 to 4 give around 30, 20, and 15 minutes.
The brushless motor runs efficiently and lasts longer. There are no carbon brushes to wear out. A built-in LED job light with pre-glow and after-glow lights up your work area.
Change nozzles by hand with the one-touch tool-less system. A trigger lock and lock-on button reduce fatigue on longer jobs. A filter helps stop debris being drawn into the tool. The battery capacity warning and battery protection system look after your LXT battery.
