The Dewalt DWS780 is a 305mm double-bevel sliding compound mitre saw built for professional carpenters, joiners, kitchen fitters and shopfitters. This 110V version is made for construction sites where 110V tools are required. A 1675W motor and a 305mm, 60-tooth blade give it the power and capacity for wide boards, deep skirting and heavy timber, with clean, accurate cuts every time.
The XPS shadow-line system lights up the cut line by casting the blade's shadow onto the workpiece. That gives you an accurate guide without any adjustment or calibration, and it stays true even after you change the blade. Dual horizontal rails with bronze guides give a smooth, precise slide, and the saw crosscuts boards up to 303mm wide and 110mm deep.
The cam-action mitre lock and stainless steel detent plate, with 10 positive stops, make repeat mitres quick and dependable. The double-bevel head tilts up to 49° left and right, so you can make bevel cuts in both directions without flipping your material. Speed control, a large dual sliding fence, a grooving stop and machined side handles make it a capable all-rounder on site. Browse our full range of Dewalt power tools at Tool Source.

What is XPS on the Dewalt DWS780?
XPS is Dewalt's shadow-line cut indicator. An LED casts the shadow of the blade onto the workpiece, showing exactly where the blade will cut. Unlike a laser, it needs no adjustment and stays accurate when you change the blade.
How wide a board can the DWS780 cut?
At 90° it crosscuts material up to 303mm wide and 110mm deep, which makes it ideal for wide boards, skirting, worktop trims and heavy timber.
Is the DWS780 a double-bevel saw?
Yes. The head bevels up to 49° left and right, so you can cut compound angles in both directions without turning your material around.
Do I need a transformer for the 110V version?
Yes. The DWS780-LX runs on 110V, so it needs a 110V site transformer or a 110V site supply. It will not plug into a standard 230V household socket. If you need the 230V version for home or workshop use, contact us.
