The MXS64SSH is Marshalltown's 14" x 4" finishing trowel in stainless steel with a traditional wood handle. The narrower 4" blade suits plasterers who prefer a lighter feel and tighter control — particularly useful on ceilings, narrow panels, and detail work where a wider blade becomes harder to manage.
Stainless steel holds its surface longer than spring steel in Irish conditions. It won't rust between jobs, won't stain from lime contact, and maintains a consistent finish quality over its working life. Combined with the 14" length, the blade strikes a balance between coverage and control that works for float coats and finishing passes alike.
The wood handle is fitted in the traditional turned style. It's lighter than a moulded grip and gives direct blade feedback — a preference for many experienced plasterers.
