The MXS77SDH is Marshalltown's 18" x 4½" finishing trowel in stainless steel with a DuraSoft handle. Because the blade is stainless steel, it resists rust and lime staining. As a result, it performs well in Irish site conditions where damp air and lime-based renders would shorten the life of a carbon steel blade.

Who It Is For

The 18" blade suits experienced plasterers who cover large wall areas at speed. In particular, it works well on open flat walls where coverage efficiency matters. However, the larger size requires confident blade control. For this reason, many plasterers use an 18" trowel for opening up and a smaller trowel for edges and detail work.
