The Makita DUA200Z is a lightweight cordless pole saw for pruning high branches. Its telescopic shaft extends your reach, so you can cut overhead without a ladder. The brushless motor gives you strong, efficient cutting on the 18V LXT battery platform.
The telescopic pole extends from about 1.6 m to over 2.5 m in length. That is roughly 5 to 8 feet of tool reach. Shorten it for low branches, or extend it to reach high tree tops, all without a ladder.
The 200 mm (8") guide bar runs the chain at up to 6.7 m/s for smooth, fast cuts. Torque Boost Mode gives you extra output to power through thicker branches. An integrated branch hook helps pull cut branches clear as you work.
The cutting head adjusts through 9 stages across a 120° range. This lets you line up the cut whether you are reaching up high or working closer to the ground. The slim head design improves control in tight spots.
Automatic chain lubrication keeps the chain running smoothly. Tool-less bar tensioning lets you adjust or change the chain without tools. An electric brake stops the chain quickly, and a lock-off function adds safety.
The brushless motor runs efficiently with no brushes to wear out. XPT (eXtreme Protection Technology) improves dust and water resistance for reliable use in tough outdoor conditions. At around 2.9 kg body only, it stays easy to handle overhead.
