It is HiKOKI's lightest and fastest first-fix nailer, built for carpenters, roofers, timber frame builders and fencing contractors. It drives paper-collated nails from 50mm to 90mm, including ring shank nails, at up to 4.5 nails per second, so it can keep up with fast-paced framing and studwork.

It runs on HiKOKI's Air Spring Drive System+, so there's no gas, no fuel cells, no fumes and no compressor or hose to drag around. You simply fit a battery and start nailing. Magnesium-alloy components make it around 10% lighter than the previous NR1890DCA, at just 3.3kg (body only). A more aggressive nose improves grip for skew nailing, and the brushless motor delivers around 700 nails from a single 5.0Ah battery.

The magnesium magazine holds 54–57 nails and is quick to load and easy to clean, and optional magazines are available for longer framing strips, metal connectors and duplex nails. Tool-free depth adjustment, an electronic dry-fire lockout and a built-in LED light make it easy to work accurately all day. This kit includes two MultiVolt batteries, a rapid charger and a carry case.
